Representatives of the 8 project partners participated in the plenary meeting on the 30th of June and 1st of July

INNTERESTING partners held an online progress meeting during the 30th of June and 1st of July 2020.

Project technical status summary and initial achievements on WP1 (Requirements and concept development) , WP6 (Environmental, social and economic assessment) and WP7 (Dissemination and exploitation activities) were evaluated during the first day of the meeting. As a main result of this first period, IKERLAN announced that they have delivered Deliverable 1.1: “Technical, environmental and social requirements of the future wind turbines and lifetime extension”  and it can be found within the “downloads” section of this website. The document describes the technical, environmental, and social requirements of the future wind turbines (2030-2050), and more precisely for pitch bearing and gearbox for large wind turbines.

The second day was mainly focussed on technical discussions, and representatives from WP2 (Advanced virtual testing and design tools for ensuring reliability), WP3 (Simplified tailored physical testing), WP4 (Smart fusion towards upscaling for hybrid accelerated testing), WP5 (Full-scale physical testing for the validation of INNTERESTING solutions) and WP8 (Project coordination and management) shared advancements and insights on their work.

Next Steering Committee meeting was set for the 9th and 10th of December and it will be kindly hosted by VITO.

This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 851245.
